Shipping Info

In order to maximize freshness, quality and a longer vase life, we harvest your flowers on the same day that they are shipped!

We ship your flowers directly from our farm via DHL, UPS or FedEx. You should allow at least 72 hours from the moment you place your order to the moment you receive the flowers. Your order will arrive by 6 p.m. on the requested delivery date.

For more detailed information on arrival times, please contact the carrier with the tracking number provided.

Flowers are perishable! Please provide us with an address where someone will be present to receive the flowers during normal business hours. If there is no one to receive the flowers at the scheduled delivery date & time, you will be contacted by the carrier in order to coordinate final delivery. Please provide us also with a phone number.

We at OrganicCallas.com are 100% committed to your complete satisfaction. We guarantee delivery of beautifull, fresh-cut, top-qualtity flowers directly from our farm to your door. We pick the flowers fresh from the field, on the same day we ship them. We then hydrate, pack and ship them with the best available means.

Should your products arrive damaged, please contact us at info@OrganicCallas.com. We will gladly offer you a replacement and ship your order on the next available delivery date.

Please note that we can not offer to replace your flowers if you are not able to receive them during the scheduled delivery date.

Flower Care

Opening your Box Upon Arrival

1.- Inspect the box to make sure there is no apparent damage. If the box is damaged, notify us as soon as possible. Open the box immediately. This is how your box should look upon arrival.

2.- Remove all packaging. Take care to handle the flowers gently and as little as possible; take extra care not to touch the flower heads because they will easily bruise.

3.- Cut Flower Ends with a sharp knife. Cut at least 1" at the bottom, placing the knife at an angle, and slice through the stems. Cut as much as needed to fit vase.

4.- Place flowers immediately in water. We recommend that you use Flower Preservative. If the callas are curved when they arrive, do not worry, since this is to be expected. They will need at least 24 hours to recondition. In order to straighten the callas use the foam pads provided in the box to firmly secure them in a vase, as shown in this picture. Once they have absorbed enough water (roughly 24 hours), they will look gorgeous again. Change water every 2-3 days to prolong vase life.

5.- After 24 hours remove the foam pads and arrange Calla Lilies in the Vase.

6.- After 3-5 days at room temperature, the calla lilies should be fully open. Our callas should last about 8 days when properly taken care of. Fresh flowers last longer at cool temperatures.

Keep in mind that when handled, Calla Lilies can drip, leaving stains in fabric. To avoid this, allow the stems to dry. Keep the flowers out of the water for approximately 30 minutes before holding them close to your clothes.

Homemade Floral Preservative

Bacteria will cause premature decay of your flowers. So keep your vase as clean as possible. If no Floral Preservative is available, try this homemade Flower Food:

  • Use 24 ounces of water for the vase.
  • Add 1 teaspoon vinegar,
  • 1 tablespoon sugar,
  • 1 crushed aspirin tablet.

Can I order a sample?

Just order the minimum amount, i.e. 15 callas.

How many days in advance should I order my Callas?

You should schedule the flowers to arrive 3 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT. You can place the order up to 60 days before arrival. Your order should be placed at least 7 - 10 days prior to the desired delivery date. For priority shipments please contact us.

Do you ship to Florists?

Yes, we regularly ship to florists, caterers, funeral homes, weddings consultants, etc.

Can I make changes to my order?

Yes. You may change your order up to 7 days prior to the delivery date.

How long will my Callas last?

Callas are among the longest lasting flowers available. They can look great from 5 days to 14 days. Much depends on how well you take care of them. Please see our “Flower Care” section for suggestions.

What forms of payment do you accept?

You can use Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, e-Check, Bank Transfers and PayPal.

How safe is it to use your payment options?

How will I know if my order has been processed

As soon as you have placed your order, you will receive an e-mail conformation from us. Should you not receive a confirmation 24 hours after placing the order, please contact us at info@OrganicCallas.com

Do you ship internationally?

At the moment we only ship to the Continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. However, should you have a special requirement for shipment outside the US, please contact us.

What happens if no one is present to receive the flowers?

It is your responsibility to ensure some one is available to receive the shipment. Please contact the carrier directly to make arrangements.

When will my order arrive?

We deliver on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. You will be asked to confirm the desired delivery date at the time of purchase. Please do so. We will contact you immediately if, for any reason, there should be a change in the delivery date.

Where do your flowers come from?

We grow them ourselves in our farm. This is the only way we can guarantee that our flowers are 100% organic, and that they have the quality our customers expect from them.
